Meet Our Founder: Eliane El Khoury
Eliane El Khoury started Shopica to fix a problem she saw far too often: people ordering beautiful furniture online, only to have something flimsy or "wobbly" arrive at their home.
With over 12 years of professional experience, Eliane has spent more time on factory floors than in an office. She has walked through production lines, talked to the makers, and learned exactly how a piece of furniture is put together from the inside out. She doesn't just look at how a table looks; she checks the timber, the metal, and the joints to make sure they are strong enough for a real home.
As the leader of a family business, Eliane believes in being accountable to you. She uses her decade of research to choose materials that can survive the harsh Australian sun and fabrics that are best for homes with kids and pets. If a product is not good enough for Eliane’s own family, she will not sell it to yours.
