Meet Our Founder
Eliane El Khoury
Shopica was founded by Eliane El Khoury to solve a problem she saw far too often. Australians ordering beautiful furniture online only to have something that did not match the promise arrive at their door.
Eliane brings over 12 years of professional experience to every product decision Shopica makes. She has spent more time on factory floors than in boardrooms. She has walked production lines, spoken directly with makers and learned exactly how a piece of furniture is constructed from the inside out.
She does not simply look at how a table photographs. She examines the timber, the joinery, the fabric weight and the metal finish to confirm it will hold up in a real Australian home.
If a product does not meet the standard Eliane holds for her own family, it does not appear on Shopica.
