Baska White Extension Outdoor Dining Table

The Baska White Extension Outdoor Dining Table is an all-aluminium table finished in a clean, flat white. Narrow slats run across the top, catching just enough shadow to give a plain surface some texture. Every corner is softly rounded, and the square-section legs repeat that curve on their outer edges. Beneath the centre sits a folded butterfly leaf, which opens the table from a 97cm rectangle to a full 149cm square. Because the leaf stores inside the frame, there is no separate panel to find room for. The powder coated finish is built for weather rather than appearance alone. Standing 76cm high, it works with any standard outdoor chair.

Why You Will Love It

The Baska White Extension Outdoor Dining Table keeps a courtyard or balcony feeling open in a way a dark table never manages. Shopica is a family-owned Australian business, and we like white outdoors because it bounces light around a small space rather than absorbing it. The butterfly leaf is the clever part: it doubles your seating in seconds and then disappears back inside the frame. A slatted top matters more than it sounds after rain, when a solid surface would still be holding water. Non-rust aluminium means the finish is the only thing needing an occasional wash. Pair it with pale or timber-toned chairs for a properly coastal look.

Usage Tips

Styling and Practical Tips for This Table

• Use white to open up a narrow courtyard or balcony where dark furniture closes in.
• Open the butterfly leaf only when you need the extra seats.
• Hose the slatted top rather than wiping, so grit washes through the gaps.
• Wash the powder coated finish more often than a dark table, since marks show sooner.
• Allow around 60cm of table edge per person when working out seating.
